Seminar, four hours; outside study, eight hours. Special topics in music industry for undergraduate students taught on experimental or temporary basis. May be repeated for credit with topic change. Letter grading.
Students learn fundamental principles of entrepreneurship across all phases of start-up process. Analysis of case studies and current events. Critical discussion around alternative business strategies in music industry entrepreneurship. Includes group assignments, workgroup labs, and strategic planning that culminate in presentation of fictitious music industry company.
